I officially gave up on my #spookathon readathon when I ended up with a cold right at the end. I managed to finish 2 full books. One being Pet Semetary and the other Cabin at the End of the World. I was about 7 hours into the Helter Skelter audio book, 60 pages into Final Girls and only a chapter or two into Dead Nation. I didn't even attempt to start the other two. I am proud that I finished one of Stephen King's tomes, but I think it put me in a bit of a slump reading it first. I think I was over ambitious with two big books in the pile. I might attempt another readathon soon and see how that goes. Wouldn't say it was bad for a first attempt, especially when reading around a deadline week at work. Maybe classics?
